Rental Agreement
50% payment is due at time of booking acceptance. 50% due 2 weeks prior to booking. $1000 damage deposit due before you take possession of trailer - if deposit is not secured before you take possession you forfeit amount paid and dates booked.
Bookings made 2 weeks or less before start of trip must be paid in full at time of booking acceptance less damage deposit which is due before you take possession.
Any person towing the trailer must be over 25, have a valid drivers license and insurance. You must have liability coverage under your personal insurance for towing a rented trailer (most insurance companies cover this). Our $7 per day insurance fee gives you collision and comprehensive coverage under our insurance. Please check this before booking. We require you to email a photo of your ID and insurance card upon booking acceptance.
Specific terms and conditions may differ based on the individual trailer, such as: the R-pod allows pets with a $50 cleaning fee, if you are having a trailer delivered you do not need to pay for exterior cleaning or dumping. If you are having a trailer delivered and we are unable to set up safely due to road or site issues, you will not receive a refund. Please make sure the site and the road leading to the site are clear and level.
1. No refund for early returns: If you return early, you will not be refunded the days you will not use. This includes if you have an accident or crash in the unit; however, if you are not at fault, you may be able to recover your rental costs from the at-fault driver’s liability insurance.
2. Fee for late returns: If you are late returning the unit, there is a $20/hour late fee unless previously agreed upon by the owner. If a booking is cancelled due to you being late, you forfeit your deposit. The owner must be present for the return of the trailer unless previously agreed upon.
3. Minimum driving age: All drivers towing the trailer must be at least 25 years old and must be listed on the contract when you pick up the unit. If any unauthorized drivers tow the trailer you forfeit your deposit. If any damage occurs while an unauthorized driver is towing you are 100% financially responsible as insurance will not cover this.
4. Smoking: Smoking (including cigars, marijuana, vapes) in the unit forfeits your security deposit.
5. Illegal substances: Any evidence of the storage, transportation, or use of illegal substances will forfeit your security deposit. Travel trailers returned with any evidence of drug use or transportation will result in a law enforcement report.
6. Odors / Cooking: Do not cook anything with grease or anything that creates a strong odor in the trailer, i.e. fish, bacon, curry. We provide a propane camping stove to use outside for this purpose.
7. Travel Restrictions: The trailer is not allowed to travel outside of Washington State unless previously agreed upon by the owner. No travel allowed on any sand or beaches. Failure to accurately report your destination or giving a false destination in order to attend a prohibited event - such as Burning Man - will result in forfeiture of your damage deposit.
8. Awning: Please be aware awnings are $3,000 to replace and are not covered by insurance. Damage to awning will exceed your deposit amount and will be 100% covered by renter. Please bring the awning in anytime it is not in use, when it is windy, and when the trailer is in motion.
9. Pets: Only dogs are allowed in the RPod and Jayco (2 dogs max). The Bullet has a strict no pets policy.
10. Damage Deposit: Your damage deposit is refunded after the unit is checked in and there is no damage or issues requiring funds from the deposit.
11. Training: When you pick up the unit you will complete a pre-rental orientation of the unit that will take about 30 minutes.
12. Cleaning: The trailer must be returned empty of all belongings and garbage. If the trailer is returned needing more than a basic interior or exterior cleaning, you will be charged the appropriate fee.
13. Propane: You must return propane tanks filled or pay a fee of $30.
14. Damage/Minor Repairs: Any damages need to be reported to the owner immediately. If the potential repair is minor, you may make the repair after consulting me. Replacement of defective parts and receipt must be brought back for reimbursement. There will be no reimbursement if you do not bring back the defective part you replaced and the receipt. If you purchase an item necessary due to an equipment failure (sewer or water hose, ice chest, etc.) the item you purchased and the receipt must be surrendered upon return if you want reimbursement.
15. Waste: Do not flush anything other than human waste and the supplied RV toilet paper in the toilet, i.e. feminine hygiene products, paper towels, baby wipes. This will save everyone from a backed up tank and toilet. You do not want sewage backing up into the trailer.
16. Abandonment: If you abandon the trailer for any reason and do not return it on time you are fully monetarily responsible for the cost of retrieval, any damages that are incurred during abandonment, and lost reservations due to lateness. You will forfeit your deposit.
17. Boondocking is discouraged: We do not guarantee use of any of the utilities (power, water, toilet) for any period of time if you are not hooked up.
18. Extra fees/add-ons: If you were not charged for fees/add-ons at time of booking, you may elect to have them deducted from your damage deposit.
19. Delivery: It is the responsibility of the renter to ensure that the parking spot is relatively flat, large enough, free of overhanging branches, and safe to park. Also, that the road or driveway leading up to the spot is wide enough, free of overhanging branches and safe to tow a large vehicle on. You will lose your booking and all fees paid if the trailer is undeliverable.
20. Generator: If you have elected to rent the generator, you assume responsibility for it the moment you take possession. If theft or damage to it occurs in your possession you must replace it with the same or equivalent $1,100 inverter generator.
21. Cancellation Policy: 100% refund of the nightly rental amount up to 30 days before pickup, then renter is responsible for 50% of the nightly rental amount for remaining days. Cancel 7 or fewer days before your trip begins renter is responsible for 100% of the nightly rental amount, plus any added fees already paid. There is a 24-hour grace period given. If a booking is canceled during a grace period, full refunds are given. Once the rental commences, the booking is non-refundable.
